About The Bot Company

The Bot Company is an American home-robotics developer founded in May 2024 in San Francisco. It's building a robot that will take over cleaning and small household chores in an ordinary apartment: according to Reuters, it's a machine on a mobile base with grippers, without human-like arms or legs, and the company hasn't shown it publicly yet. Founder Kyle Vogt previously built Cruise and sold it to General Motors for more than $1B; CTO Paril Jain led Tesla's Autopilot AI team. Trials are already underway in San Francisco apartments. Ten months after launch, the valuation grew 3.6x to $2B in a Series B; a Series C led by Eclipse closed in October 2025 without disclosed terms. Total funding raised exceeds $300M.
