MoonPay
MoonPay is infrastructure for exchanging regular money for crypto, founded in 2019 and headquartered in New York since 2025. A wallet or app embeds the MoonPay window, and the company handles identity checks, card acceptance and licensing: it holds licenses in all 50 U. S. states, including New York's BitLicense, and in the European Union under MiCA. Users of MetaMask, Ledger and Exodus buy crypto through it, and Deel and Paysafe settle in stablecoins with it. By October 2026 it had more than 35 million customers in 180 countries, up from 7 million in 2021, and 1,500 corporate clients. Net revenue grew 112% in 2024, and the company reported a profit. Six acquisitions in 2025–2026 added corporate accounts and trading infrastructure to the retail business. It has raised about $642 million in total at a valuation of $3.4 billion.
