About Locus Robotics
Mobile robots for order picking in warehouses on a subscription basis under a single LocusONE platform, with a fleet of over 22,000 machines. Released the heavy-duty platform Vector and the autonomous Array, acquired Nexera Robotics.
Locus Robotics is an American manufacturer of warehouse picking robots, founded in 2014 in Wilmington. A fleet of 22,000 robots operates at 360 sites in 20 countries and has already picked 8.5 billion items; customers include DHL, GEODIS, and CEVA. Warehouses do not buy robots but rent them monthly and scale the fleet for seasonal peaks without rebuilding the facility — for the German sports nutrition seller The Quality Group, the fleet grew from 40 to 350 robots, and by April 2026, the warehouse was picking half a million items per day. For HelloFresh, robots were adapted for refrigerated zones. A Series G round is currently open, with existing investors contributing $41.6 million; a total of over $410 million has been raised.

- The Quality Group: 500 thousand products per day. A German online sports nutrition retailer launched a warehouse in Elsdorf less than 90 days after the agreement. The fleet grew from 40 to 350 robots, and by April 2026, the warehouse had picked half a million items per day.
- HelloFresh: five times more items in cold storage. The pilot for the Factor brand began in July 2025 with 13 robots, modified for operation in a chilled zone. Three months later, another 26 were added, and the chilled assortment grew from 100 to 500 items.
