About Destinus
Hypersonic aircraft (hydrogen-powered) for future cargo and passenger aviation. Founded by Mikhail Kokorich. Pivoted toward defense in 2024 (drones for European countries).
Destinus is a European manufacturer of long-range cruise missiles, interceptors, and aircraft engines. Capacity exceeds 2,000 missile systems a year, and in April 2026 a joint venture with Rheinmetall was formalized for series production in Germany. In June 2026 the thousandth turbojet engine came off the line, and the Netherlands placed an order for 700 Block 2 missiles. In July 2026 the company became the only startup among the five founders of the Bliksem EXO consortium, alongside Airbus, MBDA, Safran, and Thales. In May 2026 it raised more than €200M in pre-placement capital, and a listing on the Amsterdam exchange is under discussion. Current valuation is more than €1B based on early-2026 convertible notes; roughly €400M raised.
